At Le Fête, we want everyone to enjoy setting a beautiful table, including customers who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive tools.

Our commitment

We are working to make lefeteshop.com meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have limited movement.

What we have done

  • Written text descriptions (alt text) for our product photos so screen readers can describe them.
  • Improved colour contrast so text is easier to read.
  • Made sure the site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • Organised pages with clear headings and page regions so they are easier to navigate with assistive technology.
  • Avoided accessibility "overlay" widgets, and fixed the site itself instead.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the site regularly, check new products and pages as we add them, and fix problems as we find them. Some content from third-party apps or partners may not yet be fully accessible, and we are working with those providers to improve it.
